A Little About Me and the Channel

I’m Gail Jones, and polymer clay has been part of my life for more than thirty years. I started sculpting when I was fifteen, making tiny food items at my desk just for fun. That early interest grew into a love for creating detailed bears, each one dressed in different outfits and settings. I began making them as keepsakes and wedding cake toppers, which quickly became my signature pieces.

In late 2020, I decided to take what I’d learned over the years and share it with others by creating my YouTube channel; Gail Jones, representing The Polymer Clay Channel. What began as a creative outlet soon became a place where I could teach, inspire and entertain through the art of polymer clay.

Now, after five years of running the channel, I’m proud to have built a community of people who share my love of making. My videos are shaped by three decades of experience, creativity and curiosity, and my goal has always been to show that anyone can create something beautiful with a bit of guidance and patience.

The Polymer Clay Channel is more than tutorials. It is a place for inspiration, encouragement and connection for anyone who enjoys the process of turning simple clay into something special.
